We Are Experts

David Hall grew up working on his own bikes and small engines with his father. He studied as a professional mechanic at the American Motorcycle Institute, where he graduated in 2006 with a specialty in BMW, Kawasaki and Suzuki. David spent the next 10 years working in single and multi-line dealerships and suspension shops around the country. In 2015, he joined the Husqvarna Factory Off-Road race team, where he spent 2 years traveling the world as a factory technician. David wrenched for riders racing in the GNCC, AMA National Hare & Hound, AMA National Enduro, AMA National EnduroCross, and International Six Days of Enduro Championships.  In 2018, David moved to New Mexico, where he worked as a technician for two more years before opening Hall Effect Suspension in 2020.

We Are Riders

First and foremost, we love riding. David has been riding since he was three years old and has no plans to ever give up his passion for the sport. The moto community has always been a major part of his life and career, which drives every move he makes. David won both the 2014 Pro Class OMRA XC and GP championships in Oregon. He has lined up for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Qualifiers, AMA National Hare Scrambles, EnduroCross races, and the GNCC Ironman. David currently races around the Southwest in the Pro Class and still hits the podium once in a while. You’re just as likely to find David out riding or racing as you are to catch him at the shop, building custom suspension setups.

We’ve Been There

We have an intimate understanding of all types of terrain, having both ridden all over the country and worked on factory race bikes all over the world.  David’s roots are in the spoil banks of old Midwest coal mines, and the wet dirt and mud of the Pacific Northwest. Currently, we’re located in New Mexico, so we are well-versed in high desert terrain like whooped-out mesas, sandy washes, and rocky alpine single track.
